Manhattan Beach Fireworks 12.16.07

My friends Stan and Diana invited me to join them in Manhattan beach for the holiday fireworks show. We got there pretty late so it took us a while to find a parking spot. It was show-time, and there we were running towards the beach. Luckily we got there just as the first shots went off. We all had a blast! literally!

you should do a little write up with each sample of what you are hearing?

I think the length of these samples is just right.. gives plenty of time get the feel of the environment... well captured sound.. very realistic ;)

HI Richard !

By any chance, do you remember what equipment have you used for this particular recording?
I do own an M-Audio Microtrack II and no matter what microphone I am using, is having lots of hiss.
Have you filtered all above 10Khz?

Thanks,
C

Actually I do get some weird buzzing or hissing feedback on some of the recordings. It's really rare but whenever it does happen, I can't tell that it's there until I play back the recording. So far I am not sure what is causing it or how to fix it. Let me know if you find a solution.
